Introduction to Intervention (12 points):
Indicate how results of the assessment are used to make interventions
Indicate how your proposed behavioral interventions represent best practices and are
conceptually systematic
Use references from behavior analytic literature
Antecedent Intervention (12 points):
Identify and describe a proactive or preventive strategy to address the behavior identified throughout your project
This intervention MUST counterbalance the function identified in your assessment (e.g., attention provided proactively for attention maintained behavior)
Use references for recommended procedures
Write at a level where implementers can understand, translating ABA lingo
appropriately (you can still use ABA terms, just explain them)
Alternative Behavior Intervention (12 points):
Identify/describe an alternative behavior that can replace the behavior identified
This intervention MUST counterbalance the identified function
Use references for recommended procedures
Write at a level where implementers can understand, translating ABA lingo
appropriately (you can still use ABA terms, just explain them)
Consequential Intervention (12 points):
Identify and describe a reactive or consequential strategy to address the behavior after it occurs in a natural setting
This intervention MUST counterbalance the function identified
Use references for recommended procedures
Write at a level where implementers can understand, translating ABA lingo
appropriately (you can still use ABA terms, just explain them)
Behavioral Consultation Follow Up (12 points):
Revise section as appropriate
Include how you will promote treatment effectiveness
Include maintenance criteria
Include generalization criteria
Additional Considerations (15+ points):
Must adhere to APA formatting
All appropriate formats (assessments and otherwise) must be cited appropriately
This document should be added to the record review/indirect/direct assignment assignment, not submitted as a separate document
Modifications and changes requested by the instructor should be made to the previous sections prior to submitting the new portion, otherwise a cumulative reduced grade will be given
This portion of the assignment should be a minimum of 2 pages and cover all of the bulleted items listed in this rubric
