4. The Whorf Hypothesis, more commonly known as the Sapir Whorf Hypothesis, states that language influences culture, and culture also shapes language. Using one example not in your textbook, thoroughly explain how the Sapir Whorf Hypothesis works.
5. With Social Exchange Theory, Comparison Level is an easy concept to understand, but the difficulty with this concept is figuring out what is reasonable for yourself. If a person’s comparison level is too high, that person will be single for a long time. If a person’s comparison level is too low, that person will be dating a lot of people who will make finding happiness difficult. Looking back at Chapter 7 and any web sites you like (and perhaps Chapter 2 as well), how can concepts within these chapters help a person set an accurate comparison level? Please give three pieces of advice for creating a reasonable and accurate comparison level.

Make an argument for whether these couples went through all the stages of Knapp’s Model in one night, or if they moved in together in the experimenting stage. In other words, how can we view their relationships through Knapp’s Model of Relational Development?
