It should be honed down to a very specific person (i.e. Marcia McNutt, President of the National Academy of Sciences).

You should detail who these decision-makers are (name(s), organizations, affiliations) and provide a sentence to explain why they might make a good audience for your letter.

I will be diving deeper into how VR/AR can be implemented in work, education, training — those will be my main focuses. VR/AR has unlocked potential, but it is fairly new to the tech world but there are strong ideas for VR/AR to be used in different settings. There are certain things VR/AR can be used in training settings, for example: in the medical field, it can be used to perform surgeries, stimulate life-and-death situations,  etc — That is just one example.  In terms of an audience, it would be hard to say who could we say “Hey! Let’s focus more on VR/AR development because there is so much potential” Another good example could be education, with COVID-19 — students could “log on” and “sit” in a classroom with their other classmates and learn in a classroom setting. In terms of an audience, it would be hard to say who could shift focus more towards VR/AR — maybe Military leaders, VR/AR Association, perhaps Samsung, Sony, and Microsoft can set the bar for VR/AR? Its hard to narrow down the audience, but I chose them because Military leaders have plenty of say in US spending, it could be possible that they could invest a portion of their money into VR/AR technology to further develop VR/AR. VR/AR Association, they are a global association that is focused on the VR/AR tech and where it is going, they could shift their focus and start focusing more on the uses of VR/AR in real settings. I chose big-name companies as well because they could set a new standard for VR/AR technology for developers to follow.
