Thanks to everyone for all of the thoughtful responses to the articles I posted last week!
Given the quality of the responses, for this paper I am asking that you basically extend the point(s) you made in last week’s discussion list.
You may use any ONE of the articles posted as a starting point.
Your assignment is to craft a short essay (800-1000 words) that responds to the piece or makes an argument about the practices and technologies discussed in the article. Just as before, you should use the organic paper style that is laid out in Guptill Chapter 3.
You should use at least 2 additional credible sources in your response. You must find these articles on your ownthey cannot include the article that was assigned to you last week.
At least one source should be a peer-reviewed (also known as scholarly) source

I was shocked when I read the article Colleges are turning students phones into surveillance machines, tracking the locations of hundreds of thousands. It is an unfair and unethical practice to track students by a reputable institution such as the University of California, San Diego invading students’ privacy and spying on their everyday activities based solely on one concept: the claim that the tracking system will play a big role in students success. Students can be physically in class but their mind busy with other things outside of the class. Instead of tracking students, educators should find answers to the most important questions of what is wrong with the education system that some students will skip their classes? and what is needed to be done to make them enjoy being in the class?
