1.  Reflection on Group Proposal (Paper #3) (20 points)
Please answer each part of this question.
a)  Your work.  Tell me about your contribution to the paper.  What section or sections did you contribute?  What was the process like (you might discuss challenges and how you overcame them and/or what you enjoyed, for example)?  What do you think is the most effective part that you wrote?

b)  Peers work.  Now select a part that a classmate wrote (without using their name).  What are its strengths?  How does it fit (or not) with your section(s) or with the paper as a whole?  If you had more time, what would you like to add or change about it in collaboration with your classmate? 

c)  Teamwork.  What is one thing that your group did well?  What is one thing youd prefer to do differently in future collaboration? 

2.Choose one of the following course concepts:

    Showing vs. telling
    Genre (i.e. breaking out of the 5-paragraph essay)
    Business letter format
    Constructive criticism and affirmative (positive) phrasing

Now, pick Paper #1 (Mission Statement Letter and Memo) or Paper #2 (Targeted Resume and Cover Letter) and discuss what your learned about the course concept in class and during the writing process. 

What did you learn or apply about the concept in the corresponding paper?  How did your writing develop in this area?  Why is it important for other writers to be aware of this concept? If you had more time, what would you improve in the paper in this or another area?  Finally, how could you use this skill in future writing, whether academic (in future UCD classes or grad school), professional (career related), or personal?
