1. Define the organizations strategy, including aspects related to company culture (in several bullet points listing objectives) and based on that, what constitutes performance (also in bullet points) for this organization (in this point: performance of the organization, NOT of individual employees), and how it is measured

2. List which functions the organization has (e.g. general manager, corporate functions, development, production, quality management, customer service, marketing, sales, consulting, areas sourced externally… depending on what applies for the business)
 
3. Select an important function (that has several hierarchical levels) and show the columns of the competency matrix (big picture: main skills) that describe this function, and show (visually: table, diagram…) how those competencies support the type of performance that the company is striving for
4. Define how the performance of each skill in the competency matrix (the portion describing the function that you selected) is measured (table or bullet points)

5. Define all the mechanisms & instruments of how feedback is given,covering the skills and hierarchical levels in the portion of the competency matrix describing your selected function (table or bullet points)
