Identify a change you would like to see in Nursing. Something that you have seen during your clinical travels that you feel needs change. Then go about finding out just how you could initiate this change using Kurt Lewins change theory from Chapter 13 in your leadership book.
Imagine that I am the employer that you are trying to convince this change would be good for my facility/employees/residents. Write the paper as if you are talking to me and trying to make this change. Be specific in this paper as to what you will do in each step.
The paper should have:
A cover page with: title of the change, your name, class prepared for (and semester) date turned in as well as instructors name. (spelling counts)
At least 3 pages of typed, double spaced, research. APA format should be used for this paper. Most versions of Microsoft Word have APA templates already uploaded in the correct format. If you have the template you only have to insert your information and delete the pages you do not need (like charts, etc.).
A works cited page at the end with each resource used for your paper. There are online resources that tell you how to cite things in APA format. There is also a website called citefast where you can enter the information and it formats it for you to use in your paper. This is a research paper, so look at research articles about the change you want to write about and whether there is any evidence to support the need for the change.
