Get it written →Find a program in the United States that has demonstrated success in helping women transition to their communities after incarceration. Provide empirical evidence of the success through evaluations of the program. Does the program meet gender responsivity? How so? What barriers does the program face in assisting the women? How could these barriers be addressed?
How to find evaluations:
If you cannot find an evaluation about the specific program you are analyzing, then find scholarly journal articles that demonstrate positive outcomes for the types of approaches they are using.
If you find an evaluation on the website of the program, be sure that it was not done by the program but an outside evaluator (sometimes, for example, professors are hired to do this or a firm).
Search the web for any evaluations on the program. You may find it in other sources such as NCJS, National Resource Centers, etc.
