authors position is in relation to the subject matter

All papers should be between 500-750 words
The first paragraph or two should be a summary of the reading; Content, historical relevance, subject, argument, thesis.
The next paragraph(s) should state your opinion, agreements, and disagreements.
Last paragraph(s) your citations to prove your response, and conclusion. Things that should be considered:
Vocabulary, use words from our vocabulary chart.
Describe what the authors position is in relation to the subject matter.
If it is about a specific artwork, describe it.
Be clear, specific, and to the point.
If the writing is historical, contextualize your response.
If the writing is theoretical, state what that theory is (I dont expect you
to be familiar with all theory, but you should at least state if the author
is positioning the writing in relation to one(s).
Dont make it a word salad.
If you use another text as an argument, cite it.
