In the job I hold currently, I would want this job to be redesigned to place more emphasis on efficiency and motivation. I feel like there is too much back tracking and re-inventing the wheel when it comes to procedures and processes. I believe that our software could be more user friendly and provide smoother transitions from screens and tabs. Some of the information provided on the tabs is inaccurate regarding rate quotes more often than not making them unreliable. I also think that the navigation of the tabs could be more user friendly. All of these things add to anxiety around the task asked to perform and complete.

As for the motivation, I think that my company could be more supportive when it comes to rallying around employees who are standing their ground with policy and procedures as far as not issuing credits to customers, honoring our return policies and deadlines as well as rebate procedures. To allow customers to escalate calls based on a feeling or an irritation doesnt coincide with company goals that have been set around profitability.

I believe the changes will allow employees to be more confident in decision making as well as provide a sense of cohesiveness throughout the organization
