In-Class Assign 2 – The Scrum Challenge
Here is the follow-up essay for my Agile Project Management class, we talked about Scrum tonight and professor want us to express our own opinions, here is the prompt below: (I also include the PowerPoints that our professor use for our lectures and you may want to use it as reference)
Write a one to two page follow-up written report, which each student will submit as an individual written assignment. Select three to five characteristics of Scrum that you feel exemplify the foundations of agile project management and Highsmiths framework. Describe how you see them illustrating agile concepts and why you feel they are the most important to write about. To help you choose aspects of Scrum to write about, think about what makes them noteworthy as implementations of the philosophy underlying agile project management and empirical product development. It is acceptable to consult outside sources. You may select a relevant work situation of your own experience, or even a project described in a source you select from a trade journal, newspaper or magazine article, book or web- based source. If you do reference a third-party source, please be sure to list its name and provide a link to it if it is available on the Internet or in the Bobst Librarys digital archives.
