Any topic (writer’s choice)
You will write an analysis of each of the first 11 chapters in the textbook. Each analysis will be worth up to seven points and must be a minimum of two full pages and no longer than three pages in length and must be single-spaced (not Multiple 1.15 or Multiple 1.08, which are the default settings for recent versions of Word) and printed using Times New Roman, size 12 font, with 1.25 inch margins on the side and 1 inch margins on the top and bottom (Office 2003 default in Margin settings in Page Layout on the Word header). Also, please do not use any space saving techniques such as adding extra space between paragraphs (the first sentence of each paragraph should be indented and the After setting in Paragraph should be set at 0 pt), using bulleted or numbered items, using sub-titles or footnotes, including diagrams and tables, or including anything other than the chapter number and your name at the top of your review. Your grade on the analysis will be reduced if you do not follow these technical requirements. At least one full page of each analysis should include a summary of the major topics covered in the chapter.
Following your summary of the major topics in the chapter you should write at least one full page in which you write a response to one or two of the Reflection Questions at the end of the chapter. Please do not write out the question as a part of your response. Just begin your response to a question by using wording such as: In response to question 1 Many of the reflection questions relate to work experiences that you may have had. If you dont have any work experience related to the questions, you might respond to the question be discussing related experiences that you might have had with student organizations or other non-work groups. If you have no experience with any groups that relate to any of the reflection questions, then just write about your own opinions regarding the major points covered in the chapter. You should submit your analyses in chapter order. For example, while you must submit an analysis for Chapter 1 during the period between January 13 and January 24 you can also submit an analysis for Chapter 2 during that period. The deadline dates for submitting your analyses are shown below. Late submissions will not be accepted unless there is an emergency. Your analyses should be submitted to me as Word attachments to either Blackboard Messages or email messages. You must submit a chapter analysis for all of the first 11 chapters in the book.
