Community Choice Proposal Memo Rough Draft
Assignment Description:
You will be asked to choose a community for the term. This community will be the topic of all of your major projects for the term, so be sure to choose a community you want to work with for the next four weeks. For the sake of future projects, it is also a good idea to choose a community that has a fairly active social media presence (multiple platforms are preferable) and a community that utilizes social media campaigns. The community can be a business, a Miami University group (club, athletic organization, etc.), or an organization. It is best to have some sort of connection to the community (you can be a follower, a member, etc.).
After choosing your community, you will be asked to write a memo about 1) the community, 2) a brief rationale for your interest in this community, 3) which social media accounts you will follow and why (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
