Encyclopedia post
Please define consumption using the assigned readings of Module 1 of the course in an encyclopedia-like article. You must attempt to synthesize the readings and put forth a multifaceted definition of consumption that reflects what you have read. The idea is to define consumption using concise and direct language that anyonenot only college studentscould read. You should strive to minimize the use of jargon and introduce technical terms in plain or previously defined language.
Your article should strive to offer a broad perspective of consumption rather than advocate a point of view. This assignment is to attempt to introduce those who may have no special knowledge of consumption to the main issues and arguments discussed in the readings assigned. The goal is to provide initial modes of insight and understanding. Clarity of substance and style should also be one of the most important goals.
This post must be 350-500 words in length and discuss at least 2 of the assigned readings.
If you believe you will be unable to complete this assignment in the time frame provided, it is your responsibility to contact the instructor immediately.
