Second Assignment (discussion assignment)
So often students remark how simple the work looks that even a kindergartner could achieve the same results. For this assignment, consider yourselves the artists. It is ca. 615, you’ve been commissioned to create an ornamental design for either jewelry or weaponry. Consider the animal style cloissone plaques that were so popular at the time. (see examples below) Please include a description of your drawing as well as indicate any references to animals or figures. Submit two responses to your peers work noting any observations (do you see something someone else missed?) about their design choice that may have been overlooked. Submit all discussion texts using the text submission windows. Please do not depend on word document and pdf files for submissions.
