Discussion: Personal and Professional Proposals

41624We make proposals often in our professional and personal lives. Think about the last time you proposed an idea to coworkers, friends, or your family. What steps did you take? How did you convince them to do what you wanted? Review the list of prompts below. Select one of the prompts from the list – or identify a similar scenario of your own and create a short proposal (200-250 words) that clearly describes what you want to propose, your reasons for the proposal, and the benefits of what you propose. You can use sources to support your point if you wish. All sources should be referenced. Your classmates and instructor will get to read and analyze what you propose. Be creative!
