4. Utilize the section II wrap-up (begins on p. 205 of Ohmer & DeMasi, 2009) and the tables to complete a community assessment for the community in which you live or work.
This is a Community Assessment and not a Needs Assessment; these are two different types of analyses. Your assessment should be in essay format and the tables should not be used as a way to share your findings.
I would like you to discuss the characteristics of a consensus organizer and analyze your own competencies therein. However, you do not have to choose a consensus organizing approach to address the issue you have identified. If you choose an approach other than consensus organizing briefly discuss how those consensus organizing competencies do or do not fit with the approach you have chosen.
