Resilience is the ability for people to bounce back after travesty, therefore, for Vietnam, with the highest prevalence of PTSD amongst the other country in the study, is quick to adopts a lockdown strategy backed by up the country military and armed forces, almost instantly before the widespread global infection of COVID-19. Therefore, it was observed for Vietnam to have the lowest rate of detected cases and death compared to her counterparts in the study. Vietnam is also another pioneer in combating infectious diseases on a national scale, being one of the first 4 countries identified to have had local transmissions of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) (Nguyen Thi Yen et al., 2021). Vietnam, after coming through previous traumatic experiences in the recent years, have gain the respect of many for being a resilient country (Nam-suk, 2015). Hence, it is possible to suggest the link between PTSD and how resilience is developed from it.
