The Ethics of Gender Fluidity

Please Research articles concerning the Gender Fluidity and Transgender Movements in our current society. Write an essay defining the issue and providing information on the impact on society as the movement goes forward. Describe your reaction to the Documentary “I am They” – What ethical implications are there to the new phenomena of gender fluidity in our society?

Is it ethical for parents to allow their children to “choose” their sex? Why or why not?

Is it ethical for doctors to perform sex changes on children? Is it ethical for Doctors to prescribe medication delaying puberty? Explain. 

Is it ethical for parents to encourage children to act in a manner that coincides with the sex of their birth? 

IS it unethical to refer to someone as the sex and gender of their biology rather than what they identify as?
