outside speech

Outside Speech. You may view an outside speech and write a 2–3page (double spaced) outside speech report. Speeches attended for this assignment should be live (not video, radio, or other types of broadcasts), however if this is an online class, viewing a speech online will be allowed, and should be at least half an hour long (30 min). Examples of approved outside speeches include pre/post performance lectures by directors, musicians, artists, etc. We highly recommend that you obtain approval for any outside speeches from your instructor in advance, especially if you are unsure whether the event is appropriate for this assignment. In your paper, you should briefly summarize what was presented but focus more on the delivery, ask yourself was it a good speech?, whether it is yes or no, explain your answer. Was it the type of delivery style? Was it the subject? Please be as in depth as possible, the summary of what was said should be less than half a page, focus more on your analysis.
