M3 Discussion- Find a Persuasive Ad

Please answer the following questions in your main response:

1. Find an advertisement with the intent to persuade (e.g., a campaign to reduce smoking, or encourage people to practice safe sex, or to vote for a particular candidate, or to get people to buy a new brand of butter or a new soft drink, etc.).  You MUST include a link to the add.  If you have trouble finding an Ad, you can also create one!!
2. Who is the intended audience?
3. Does the add rely on the central route, peripheral route, or both routes to persuade? Describe how you know.
4. Is the message delivered through logic, association, emotion, humor…?
5. Does your add rely on theory (cognitive dissonance or self-persuasion) or scientific findings (scarcity, attractiveness, distraction…)?
