The research paper is pinnacle of academic writing. In this research paper, as in all research papers, you should be able to clearly articulate the details of a particular topic. Clear articulation, though, is only the beginning of the research paper. The contents of the research paper should illustrate an understanding of the material, an ability to evaluation the content, and an integration of the concepts from the course.
This research paper assignment will provide you with the opportunity to mimic literature-review-style research. This assignment will allow you to highlight your ability to write in your field. This will help you to develop as someone who will likely be writing reports or scholarly works in the field.
In this assignment, you will build upon your Journal Article Review Assignments and/or may build upon a topic or chapter from the Linebach & Kovacsiss text. In other words, as noted in the constraints above, you will have some limited flexibility in choosing your topic.
• The Research Paper must be a minimum of 6 pages.
• The project must use current APA style, and the page count does not include the title page, abstract, reference section, or any extra material.
• You must incorporate a Christian worldview throughout your paper or have a specific section of your paper dedicated to Christian Worldview.
• You must use a 10–15 recent, relevant, and academic (peer-reviewed journals preferred and professional journals allowed if used judiciously) reference page sources with at least 1 source being the Holy Bible and no more than 2 sources being books.
This paper must reflect a great level of research and writing style. Reference the Research Paper Grading Rubric when creating your Research Paper. Microsoft Word is the only acceptable format for submission.
