While not nearly as common as social determinants, biological determinants can have a major impact on an individual's quality of life. In the directions that follow, you will pair a biological determinant with a selected biological theory from the Instructor Guidance to demonstrate several real-world public health actions. This  is divided into two parts.

Part 1

• Choose one of the biological science theories identified in the Week 3 Instructor Guidance (Evolution, Cell, or Genetics).
• Choose one biological determinant of health, and it cannot be the same as you shared in the Global Determinants discussion forum from Week 3.
• Choose one social determinant of health, and it cannot be one you have shared previously.
• Compare and contrast the relationship between your selected social determinant and the chosen biological determinant of health.
• Determine how your findings interrelate with the biological science theory you chose from the Instructor Guidance.
