Discuss the different types of marriage relationships and the fact that what works for one person may or may not “fit” into each type of relationship equally well. For example, some couples work very well in conflict-habituated marriages, but this style may not work well for others. Discuss the potential problem of entering a relationship that is able to work in one style and then changing over time; for example, the conflict-habituated style may be exciting in the first few years, but it can become less fulfilling over time.
