As a presenter next week, you have been asked to help promote the conference on social media (Facebook). Before post an initial message that does both of the following:
1 Provide a social media message appropriate for Facebook, The message should encourage participation in next week’s communications conference, specifically your presentation at that conference about Interpersonal Communication ( team work). Be creative!!
2 Discuss the strategies you used in your social media message by answering the following questions:
Which social media platform would your posting be most appropriate for (Facebook) and why did you choose that platform for advertising the conference?
Use the following strategies and why;
1)Emphasize a call to action:
The purpose of every message is to believe or to do something. The message should provide all necessary content to act on that belief or perform the desired action. If announcing a new product, how can the audience get it? If sharing a new initiative, what can the audience do to be involved?
2)Encourage Conversation:
The more people who reply to postings, the more the original posting is promoted and shared with others. Social media feeds or other open discussion forums, such as those provided through OpenWeb (formerly Spot.IM), might be hosted on the company’s website to encourage conversation about topics related to the business, such as a discussion area about fashion on a website for a fashion line.
3)Connect with advocates and influencers:
Social media is about community. Like postings or follow users with similar interests, thus making your presence known in the community. As a result, some influencers might voluntarily promote your business or be paid or provided with free products to do so.
