A study should present minimal risk to participants especially risks that pertain to experimental treatment or exposure to physical or psychological harm.  Care should be taken to ensure that the participants fully understand the nature of the study and the fact that participation is voluntary. Please review the ASU IRB handbook for specific guidelines regarding the protection human subjects. 

In this assignment provide a 2-3-page APA formatted paper that discusses the procedures you will use in your DNP project to for the protect the participants.  Discuss the informed consenting process you will use or the rationale for not providing informed consent to your participants.  Discuss your plan for assuring the identity of your participants is protected. If you have any current or future power over the participants discuss your plans for the use of a proxy.  Discuss how the data will be de-identified, securely stored and eventually destroyed.
