I believe that the spirit is what connects us with God, and it needs to be taken care of so that a person can heal and be whole. I believe that we are made up of 3 parts, the physical body, the mind, and the spirit. All 3 parts need to be taken care of for a person to stay healthy and thrive. According to Nasser (2016), many people believe that spiritual care is a person’s religious beliefs, but this is not true.
