PICO question: In patients 65 and older how does the use of independent personal assistive (canes, walkers ect) devices affect reduction in fall rate on a medical surgical unit within their admission time.

Note: The clinical practice you recommend should be an autonomous (or relatively autonomous) nursing action (e.g., an assessment or an intervention). This does not include delegated interventions such as administering medication or a provider’s decision such as giving a medicine versus counseling. i.e. Collaborating with physicians to initiate physician orders such as removal of a urinary catheter.

1) Adhere to strict APA guidelines (20pts, more than 5 errors 0 pts)
2) This paper should be 10-15 pages long (Not including Title Page, Abstract, Reference Page(s). and must be an explanation and synthesis of the literature.  (10pts)

3) This Paper must have at least 5 references.  (10pts)

Before final Submission of your paper 2 of your peers must review it.  A copy of your peers comments must accompany the final submission.

The rubric in effect will be the Practice Guideline Rubric with the points adjusted to 210 for level 5 then – 12.5pts for each level down with a 0 being awarded for level 0.
