Forms are used on Websites for various purposes, ranging from feedback about the site to placing orders in e-commerce sites. Thinking about your own experience with forms, what makes a form more user-friendly than another? Considering the number of people who access pages on Smartphones, what kinds of changes should you consider to make a form easier to read on different devices? In what ways will CSS help you in developing forms that are user friendly?

Forms can be user-friendly if they have a few basic features such as a title, left labeling, field labeling, spacing, styling, sections, question phrasing, pages, and mobile-friendly layout. All of these essential features will help users to know precisely where they are on the form with a title that is clear and direct; provide a natural appearance and accessibility; and will assist with users knowing exactly where and what fields to complete on the form. A mobile-friendly layout is one of the best essential features to have because if a computer is not available, it is always good to make it accessible for mobile users to be able to use.
Some features or changes that should be considered to make a form more comfortable to read on various devices are conditional questions, repeated fields, and prefilling fields through a URL, connector and within a structure. Color choices, required fields, labels, hints, and multiple choice fields are also great ways to improve a form to make it easier for users to use and understand. Being simple and clear always makes it easier not just for the user but the developer.
The CSS has many of the features I discussed above to improve the development of a user-friendly form. It can provide a straightforward detailed form with fewer code requirements that will allow the form to work much more accessible and better.
