– Be specific. Narrow down in your presentation. Do not talk about everything in the assigned topic. You may focus on a specific successful/ failed technology application, or a business problem addressed by IS solutions, or a practical dilemma created by the emergence of certain technology

– Be creative and critical. You should present something new to the audience. In the past, the best presentation groups could present some ideas which the instructor did not know. One way to do so is to choose a controversial topic or create some arguments in your presentation. Let the audience to discuss with you.

– Be logical. Focus on one or two key messages throughout your presentation. Follow a well-organized structure, a clear line of reasoning, and smooth transitions to deliver your messages.

– Be professional. You should use scientific references to support your ideas and list them on the corresponding slides. Your slides should include bulleted phrases, rather than whole sentences, so you can speak about the slides rather than read them.

– Be Interactive. You may invite audience to discuss their ideas, debate, play games, etc.
