Research Questions: How is the standard of patient care affected by the implementation of EPIC as an electronic medical record system?

Why this question is significant – why should we care about this: It has been demonstrated that the adoption of electronic medical record systems enhances the quality of patient care by decreasing medical mistakes, boosting care delivery efficiency, and enhancing communication between healthcare professionals. The deployment of EPIC as an electronic medical record system is predicted to raise the standard of patient care. This is because EPIC is a thorough and user-friendly EMR system that has been proved to lower medical mistakes, boost the effectiveness of care delivery, and enhance provider communication.

Hypothesis: The hypothesis is that the use of EPIC as an electronic medical record system will improve the quality of patient care.

Null Hypothesis: According to the null hypothesis, using EPIC as an electronic medical record system won’t raise the standard of patient care. This could be the result of a variety of things, including user mistake or a lack of training on the side of the healthcare professionals. The null hypothesis is more likely to be disproved given the evidence that EMR systems actually raise the standard of patient care.
