Thesis Plan/Outline – Risk Management in Supply Chain

This master thesis will be divided into five (5) chapters.

Chapter 1 – Introduction

Chapter 2 – Literature Review

An extensive review of literature in risk management in supply chain is discussed. This gives a broader view into the risks involved in supply chain, how to manage it and the advancement of risk management techniques/measures. The literature review will be based on academic context.

Chapter 3 – Methodology (Methodological Appproach)

· Analysis Method

This chapter discusses the methodology used in the thesis. It gives a view of the concept and theoretical frameworks which includes research approach, research design, data collection method and analysis. Qualitative research will be used for this thesis as it is considered the best option to gather in-depth information through interviews and surveys for easier understanding. It is not always possible and accurate to capture the opinions of the respondents in a numerical form.

Chapter 4 – Analysis

This chapter presents the results of the findings for further analysis. The Implication of the findings and mitigation suggestions will also be discussed.

Chapter 5 – Conclusion

Further reflection on the study will be given in this chapter followed by recommendations and conclusion.
