Overview: As a community health professional, you will make recommendations to the community about healthcare planning. In order to educate people as a
community health worker, you need to be knowledgeable of prevention/control measures for the disease you have chosen to study for your final project disease
brief. You must also be knowledgeable as to how the disease is contracted or transmitted. In this milestone you will gather the information and data that you
will need to complete Section V (Treatment and Prevention) of the final project.

V. Treatment and Prevention: In this section, you will create recommendations for healthcare planning and identify the various ways the disease can be
prevented.

A. Have you recommended appropriate prevention strategies for individuals who have not developed or contracted the disease, and have you
supported your recommendations with current research?

B. Have you identified the accepted treatment options that exist for the disease and described the impact of each on the diseases progression?

C. Have you described the risks and benefits of each treatment option you have identified? Also, have you supported your description with relevant
examples, such as the side effects of each treatment option?
