Sample problem
An HR problem could be that employees are often dissatisfied with their performance feedback and managers are often dissatisfied with the systems that organizations design to help them deliver performance feedback. The question becomes: What type of employee performance management system would suggest is best for a specific organization of your choosing?
This organization can be one that is widely studied (e.g., Microsoft, General Motors, Experian, etc.) or one by which you have been employed. This is a “problem” in that there are many different performance management systems from which to choose, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, different performance management systems might be more or less suitable to a particular organization based on that organization’s structure, size, organizational culture, and so forth.
