The plant that I chose for this assignment is aloe vera. Aloe is very beneficial to humans it has many helpful applications from skin care to immune health. Aloe vera is one of approximately 420 species of the genus Aloe. The botanical name of aloe vera is Aloe barbadense miller. Aloe vera contains antioxidant vitamins A, C and E  plus vitamin B12, folic acid and choline. The health benefits of aloe that it can Soothes Rashes and Skin Irritations, Soothes Burns, Moisturizes Hair and Scalp, and it can help with Treating Constipation. The most important thing that I can think of especially in the times that we are in now is that it helps boost the immune system.
