Assignment: Discuss how you would deal with a scenario where you end up in a dual relationship.

Hypothetically Speaking   The purpose of this assignment is to help you understand the pros and cons of working in multiple capacities. This assignment builds upon the previous one as you will now create a hypothetical scenario where you are in a dual-role situation as an SPP.  For this assignment, perform the following tasks: •Discuss how you would deal with a scenario where you end up in a dual relationship. •Create your own hypothetical scenario where you are in a dual relationship. This dual relationship should be either as a teacher-practitioner,   clinician-practitioner, or as a sport psychology professional. Make your scenario as complex or simple as you choose. ◦Discuss the issues related to the fictional scenario you create. ◦Define your role(s) in the situation, problems, obstacles, and a way to either make the dual-role situation work or a plan to work only in one capacity. ◦Justify your choices and actions.  Write a one- to two-page response in Microsoft Word document format. All written assignments and responses should follow APA rules for attributing sources. In the mental health field, a dual relationship is a situation where multiple roles exist between a therapist, or other mental health practitioner, and a client. Dual relationships are also referred to as multiple relationships, and these two terms are used interchangeably in the research literature.
