Imagine you work for a health care provider, and upper management is looking to make process changes throughout the organization. They have presented your team with a list of different scenarios for which they would like input. Your team must choose one scenario and complete a series of tasks using that scenario. You will also be required to present an overview of your information to upper management.

Choose a scenario from the System Scenarios List.
Use your chosen scenario to create a list of at least five system components. This list should be comprised of components of the system used in the scenario.
Write a 1,850 – 2,400 word APA formatted Part 1: Systems Components Assignment paper.
Write at least 350 words for each component, and include the following:
- A description of the component
- Its uses
- Possible interface issues
- Include at least three references.

- Demonstrate how the HIT system and vendor selection processes should be used for your organization.
- Identify threats and safeguards for electronic information that must be taken into account. Describe how these threats and safeguards affected your system choice.
- Determine the effects of federal mandates and regulations on your potential and chosen health systems.
In your paper, include a chart comparing at least three vendor options.

- How you would weight the importance of each criteria
- Summarize your choices in 500 words.
