In the video lecture by Dr. Scalise entitled, “Communication, Decision Making And Conflict Resolution – Part 1,” he discusses the first 3 of 10 “rules” for ensuring “good confrontations” of couples.

For this Discussion Activity, summarize what Dr. Scalise teaches about expectations, assumptions, and the notion of understanding a spouse’s thoughts and feelings.

For each of the three “rules,” share an incident or story that illustrates your understanding of the “rule.” Feel free to enhance your response by interjecting scripture that you feel supports or “speaks to” the rule.
