How has your comfort level with healthcare technology changed over time?
Now that you have looked into computers and technology, it is time to determine your attitudes toward technology and computers as it relates to healthcare. This assignment will be used to determine guage your thoughts and attitudes towar technology in healthcare. You have two options to complete the questionnaire, you may complete it using the Adobe file or you can access it electronically using the link. If you choose to use the electronic version, then your totals will be calcuated for you and you will begin the assignment on page 4 to find your range. You will need to complete the Self-Assessment and Plan of Action and identify 5 goals. To conclude the assignment you will submit a brief reflection by addressing the following questions. Your reflection should be written in first person and is limited to 250 words. All future assignments in the program will be in APA format, which includes a title page, body, references, page numbers, and appendices.
Reflection questions:
1. How has your comfort level with healthcare technology changed over time? How might your PATCH assessment results influence your perspective on technology in healthcare?
2. Considering your self assessment of computer literacy, which areas will you focus on first improve your feelings of technology in healthcare? Explain your response.
3. What barriers do you anticipate when attempting to meet your goals for nursing informatics competenices? How will you overcome the barriers?
