The purpose of this assignment is to critically appraise successful change in the workplace in support of evidence-based practice. The creation of a PICOT question will be used to support a proposed practice change model.
You will address engagement and cooperative strategies in a team environment, which can include cooperation, negotiation, and compromise, resulting in issue resolution and/or building team alliances.
You will apply a model of change to the PICOT question and identify how leadership and interprofessional collaboration can create and sustain a culture and environment for evidence-based practice. You will evaluate evidence for the change and apply the change to a model for implementation. You will apply conflict management skills to resolve issues and/or build team alliances.

PICOT: Create a clinical question in PICOT format to a problem identified within your present or former healthcare workplace. You can also use the PICOT clinical question you created in another module.

Describe Kotter and Cohen’s Model of Change Application.
Evaluate three evidence-based findings from nursing research to support the change.
Next, using the PICOT question, complete the template for Kotter and Cohen’s Model of Change and insert it into the paper via Appendix A.

Vision: Discuss how your vision and belief in the incorporation of evidence-based practice in the workplace ensures sustainable change in your workplace.
