Predictive analysis is used by officers in law enforcement, corrections, probation, and parole to prevent and respond to crime and to improve police-community relations.
Consider that your agency has recently received a grant to support predictive policing efforts, so each department must create a presentation advising the best way to spend the funds. Your supervisor has tasked you with examining, researching, and creating a presentation that shows established research on the use of predictive policing in the policing environment.

Explain the effect that predictive policing had on police-community relations in that location.
Provide specific examples that are relevant to this jurisdiction and are supported by research.
Advocate for a specific change in the use of predictive policing that will improve the system in your location and/or will help alleviate a negative consequence of predictive policing in the jurisdiction you selected. Explain your reasoning.
Cite at least 2 scholarly sources outside of the assigned readings.
