The nursing profession faces several pressing contemporary issues that directly influence how nurses practice and sustain their careers.After completing the Week 13 readings and videos:Identify and briefly describe one major contemporary issue currently affecting the nursing profession (examples: nursing shortage, burnout and moral distress, workplace violence, technological changes/informatics demands, or the impact of global health crises).
Explain how this issue affects patient care, nurse well-being, or the healthcare system as a whole.
Discuss at least two evidence-based strategies that individual nurses or healthcare organizations can implement to address this issue or build resilience.
Reflect personally: How might this issue influence your own transition into professional nursing practice, and what steps will you take to prepare yourself?
Your initial post must be 300–350 words minimum. Support your discussion with at least two scholarly sources (textbook counts as one; the second should be a recent peer-reviewed article or credible professional report). Use APA 7th edition for in-text citations and the reference list.Response Requirements:
Reply substantively to at least two classmates. In each response (100–150 words), offer one additional strategy for addressing the issue or share how the challenge might differ across various healthcare settings.Grading Rubric (25 points): Clear identification and description of a contemporary issue (7 pts)

Find one recent (published within the last 12–18 months) news article or professional publication related to a contemporary issue in nursing. Acceptable topics include (but are not limited to):Nursing shortage or staffing ratios
