The purpose of this discussion is to help you explore major nursing theories and conceptual frameworks and begin to understand how theory guides nursing practice. By analyzing a selected nursing theorist, you will start connecting theoretical concepts to real-world patient care scenarios and develop your ability to use theory as a foundation for clinical reasoning and professional decision-making.InstructionsPart 1: Initial Post (Due by Day 3)
Post a substantive response of 400–500 words that addresses all of the following points:Select one nursing theorist from the Week 2 readings (common choices include Florence Nightingale, Virginia Henderson, Dorothea Orem, Sister Callista Roy, Jean Watson, or Patricia Benner).
Briefly describe the theorist’s background and the main focus of her theory.
Explain the key concepts of the chosen theory, including how it defines the four metaparadigm concepts: Person

Apply the theory to practice:
Provide a specific clinical scenario (e.g., a patient with chronic illness, postoperative recovery, or end-of-life care) and explain how the theorist’s ideas would guide your nursing care. Give at least two concrete examples of nursing interventions or actions based on the theory.
Reflect personally:
Why do you think this theory is (or is not) useful in today’s complex healthcare environment? How might it influence your developing professional nursing identity?
Support your initial post with a minimum of three scholarly references (one must be the course textbook chapter on nursing theory, and at least two should be additional credible sources). Use proper APA 7th edition in-text citations and a reference list at the end of your post.Part 2: Responses to Colleagues (Due by Day 6)
Respond substantively to at least two different classmates who selected different theorists than you did. Each response should be 150–250 words and must: Compare or contrast the key concepts of their chosen theory with yours.
