You are the director of human resources (HR) for a small start-up organization. Leaders in the organization have approached you with concerns about the ethical and legal implications in employment law, safety, IT and data security, and an overall code of conduct to guide employee behavior as they scale the company for fast growth. Leaders have partnered with a third-party vendor to develop the policies and training in an e-learning format. Now, they are coming to you for guidance on launching the training for all employees and ensuring 100% completion in a 30-day time frame. The main concern is to ensure all employees are compliant with employment law (45 minutes) and consistently abide by the code of conduct (30 minutes), IT and data governance (30 minutes), and safety (30 minutes). The training can be accessed via the company intranet. It will be up to the leaders of each department to understand the importance of the training and complete it within the established time frame.
