For this discussion, we consider what it means to integrate. Chapter 1 in King and Ford's (2024) and Chapter 1 in Neff and McMinn's (2020) textbooks discuss the concept of integration and how we counsel clients who desire a faith-based approach to counseling. A careful review of both chapters provides concepts and principles that counselors can apply in therapeutic relationships with their clients. In your discussion post:

1. Provide a three to four-sentence paragraph that explains your understanding of what it means to integrate. 
2. When considering the worldview of Christian and non-Christian clients, King and Ford (2024, p. 5) ask, "What are some core beliefs that you hold to be true about God? Should a client’s religious and spiritual beliefs be integrated in counseling?" How would you answer them? 
3. Neff and McMinn (Hard copy 2020, p. 31 or E-Book 2020, p. 44) describe the struggle Christian psychologists and counselors often face in deciding how much they should disclose to patients who share their faith and religion. If a counselor and client shared a mutual religion or spirituality would integrating their beliefs enhance or hinder the therapeutic relationship? Explain.
