Earned Value Management Discussion

These last two weeks, we studied earned value management (EVM) and our focus was mostly on metrics and calculations. Let’s shift our focus to the people (Stakeholders, Team, and Suppliers, etc) who will take action based on the EVM results.

For your initial post, share with your peers:

Identify a stakeholder who has an interest in the status of a project,
Describe the usefulness of EVM to that stakeholder.

For your interaction, reply to at least two of your peers’ posts and 1. describe the most important ‘take-away’ you learned from your peer and 2. Select an alternate EVM metric that is useful to this stakeholder (see list PMBOK 7th ed.).
