Using a portfolio system is one way to put all the information gathered from formative and summative assessments into one space that can be shared with professionals and parents to understand the growth of children.
In your final project, you will showcase your understanding of different assessment tools and their uses. The Child Assessment Professional Portfolio project is a great way for you to showcase your assessment skillset to future employers. As you complete this final project, keep in mind that you will use the same tool that you chose last week and expand upon the contents. Typically, this tool would be used to document the growth of one specific child. However, for this assignment you will use the tool to creatively document your understanding of using assessments to effectively plan instruction to meet the diverse needs of children.
