Burnout is such a horrible thing to experience. I can see Angie getting burned out from the workload and the stress. What Parker should do is help Angie out with training the new hires and checking in on them regularly to see how they are doing. He also should talk with Angie before putting more work on her to see if she is doing okay with the tasks and he can lend a helping hand. Parker should also distribute the work fairly because he still has Paulo to help do tasks and training for the new hires. Parker can’t put everything on Angie just because she has been there the longest.

What Parker should have done from the beginning is distribute the tasks among all employees and not just on Angie. He should have thought it through beforehand and realized it could lead to potential burnout. He could have made Angie the trainer for the new hires so she could share her knowledge and allow them to write notes step by step so they can have that as reference. That could have been her sole responsibility so the new hires could get all trained up and then Angie could have went back to her area once they were all trained up, and if the new hires needed help, they could reach out to Angie.

If I were Parker, I would do weekly training for the new hires and for Paulo so they can get all caught up to speed with note taking and more knowledge of the job. This way, I would walk them through the steps of whatever we are training on so that they can have their notes as reference when needed.
