2. Research and summarize the stages of writing development. How is the writing development process the same for native English speakers and non-native English speakers? How is it different? Share 2-3 instructional strategies to support ELs in various stages of writing development.
3. Formative assessment should be included throughout a lesson. What are some formative assessment strategies that teachers can utilize at the beginning, during, and end of a lesson? Provide at least one example of each with a justification of why it is appropriate during that part of the lesson.
