In this explainer video, you will review the requirements for the final paper. For your final paper, you will select a health care organization. You can choose your current or previous employer, or you may select one case scenario from the required text other than your chosen case scenario in your week four assignment.

You assume the position of manager of your selected health care organization. You understand the key problem profoundly impacting your organization's operational efficiency, patient care, or customer satisfaction. Your direct boss knows that you are enrolling in the Master of Arts in Health Care Administration program at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Your direct boss asks you to develop a strategic plan by applying your learned knowledge and management theories from the program.

First, your final paper should describe your chosen health care organization, including the name, location of the business, its mission, the nature of the business, the services or products, and customers served. You may use a hypothetical name for the organization if your chosen organization does not allow you to disclose its information.

Second, identify one key problem at the departmental or organizational level that has profound impacts on operational efficiency, patient care, or customer satisfaction. Third, propose a minimum of two solutions to the identified problem.

For the week three assignment, you only complete the first three requirements of your final paper as an outline. Your detailed outline must be 2 to 3 double-spaced pages in length.

Additionally, include a separate title page with the following in title case. Title of the paper in bold font– space should appear between the title and the other information on the title page– student's name, name of institution– the University of Arizona Global Campus– course name and number, instructor's name, and due date.

Use at least two scholarly sources in addition to the course text. Document any information used from sources in APA style. Include a separate references page formatted according to APA style. Please see the week three assignment in the online classroom for helpful links with each of these requirements.

By day seven of week three, upload your week three assignment as an outline to Waypoint for grading. Next, you will upload your outline to the discussion board by day one of week four. This is a peer review discussion. Your instructor will assign you into pairs to perform the peer review. Use the Final Paper Prep Peer Review template to complete your review. Your peer review should include the strengths and weaknesses of the final paper prep and suggestions for improvement.

By day four, Friday of week four, you will give or receive feedback and make adjustments to improve your final paper. To recap, there are three deliverables for the final paper. The first is your week three assignment as an outline. The second is your peer review for the week four discussion forum. And the third is your week six final paper.
